Earthquake Recovery
Morocco suffered a devastating earthquake in the fall of 2023 impacting more than1600 small villages were impacted by the quake.
Through "El Baraka Angels”, a local charitable organization Clean-Seas provided large tents to provide shelter to families whose homes are uninhabitable due to the danger of collapse.
The majority of the tents have been deployed in a tiny remote farming village of Tougraman in the Atlas Mountains. Our staff recently visited the village and met with affected families.

The first Plastic Conversion Network hub in North Africa, CSM is a 5-hectare facility located in close proximity to the European Union. CSM will accept and convert feedstock from France, Spain, and other EU countries, as well as local feedstock, helping Morocco reach its goal of deriving 52% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2050.
CSM currently operates two pyrolysis lines, each processing 10 TPD of waste plastic into pyrolysis oil. The Company anticipates scaling up to over 220 TPD by Q1 of 2026 and 500 TPD in the following 24 months. Feedstock is delivered to CSM at no charge under a 10-year supply agreement, and the facility currently has a 1-year supply of feedstock on hand.
Clean-Seas Morocco (CSM) has been operational since June 2023 and is generating revenue from pyrolysis services and the sale of byproducts.

Harbor Cleanup
Costal and port plastic waste collection program in Morocco. An autonomous emission free collection technology was developed by our partners, the Aquaflore Project to collect plastic 24/7 both beneath and on the waters surface.
The technology has proved so successful that the port supervisory administration is implementing the plan in each of the 53 commercial ports in Morocco. Currently over 85% of these ports are equipped with either solar, hybrid or thermal de-pollution barges which collect approximately 12,000 tons of plastic yearly, and is processed at the Clean-Seas Morocco facility.
Fishing Vessel Plastic Waste Coillection
Clean-Seas and Aquaflore Project have joined forces to encourage fishing vessel owners to bring their plastic waste back to port rather than discarding it at sea.
More than 250 large ships have joined the initiative and they return more than 2,000,000 plastic bottles yearly.
Currently there is an initiative to have smaller vessels contribute as well.
All waste collected is processed at Clean-Seas Morocco.
Beach Cleanup
