The first Plastic Conversion Network hub in North Africa, CSM is a 5-hectare facility located in close proximity to the European Union. CSM will accept and convert feedstock from France, Spain, and other EU countries, as well as local feedstock, helping Morocco reach its goal of deriving 52% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2050.
CSM currently operates two pyrolysis lines, each processing 10 TPD of waste plastic into pyrolysis oil. The Company anticipates scaling up to over 220 TPD by the end of 2024 and greater than 500 TPD in the following eighteen months. Feedstock is delivered to CSM at no charge under a 10-year supply agreement, and the facility currently has a 1-year supply of feedstock on hand.
Clean-Seas Morocco (CSM) has been operational since June 2023 and is generating revenue from pyrolysis services and the sale of byproducts.
